Why is it called a Wooter Roll?
Our family dog when I was a child was a sweet fluffy white West Highland Terrier named Tootsie. And you know how everyone has a nickname for their dog? Well, Tootsie’s nickname was none other than “Wooter” so when I started making homemade Tootsie Rolls at The Chocolate Dog I wanted to pay homage to our sweet dog Tootsie, and name them truly after her (since she was actually named after the candy!)
